New Orleans – Super Sunday – Mardi Gras Indians – Part Two

In this episode we followed the 9th Ward Navajo indians of New Orleans. Lets see if The BIG CHIEF has what it takes. By the looks of it, he’s going to be alright. I filmed scenes from all over New Orleans, this is what you will see when you come here. The city is beautiful. The people are awesome, from rich to poor they all have something to share. Whenever I travel to New Orleans I feel at home, almost like a 2nd home for me. Enjoy the video!!!

Photos from my trips to New Orleans this year.

img_1303Here are some photos from my trips to New Orleans this past year. I used all of my lenses on these photos. I walked around asking people to take photos of them, people were more than happy to pose for me. People love to be loved, they love attention and it makes them feel good to feel important. I don’t care how you look on the outside, your smile and spirit is what I want to capture. I hope you enjoy my photos, feel free to critique them….enjoy!!!

New Orleans – Super Sunday – Mardi Gras Indians – Part One

Super Sunday – March 19, 2017

img_1303-2Aside from Mardi Gras Day, the most significant day for the Mardi Gras Indians is their Super Sunday. The New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian Council always has their Indian Sunday on the third Sunday of March, around St. Joseph’s Day. Their festivities begin at noon in A.L. Davis Park (at Washington & LaSalle Streets) where the Mardi Gras Indians once again dress in their feathers and suits and take to the streets to meet other tribes.

I filmed scenes from all over New Orleans, this is what you will see when you come here. The city is beautiful. The people are awesome, from rich to poor they all have something to share. Whenever I travel to New Orleans I feel at home, almost like a 2nd home for me. Enjoy the video!!!

City Scenes from New Orleans (Canon 80D 10-22mm)

Published on Jun 3, 2017

img_1303I filmed scenes from all over New Orleans, this is what you will see when you come here. The city is beautiful. The people are awesome, from rich to poor they all have something to share. The video may be a bit long, but I just wanted to throw in as many small cool shots as I could for the viewer to see. I might redo this video and make smaller versions of it. Whenever I travel to New Orleans I feel at home, almost like a 2nd home for me. Enjoy the video!!!
